Lily (Jinglin) Xu

Lily worked as a women's health professor in her hometown hospital for a number of years.
Since coming to New Zealand in 2003, she has gained the Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science (PGDipHSc) and the Certificate of Health Promotion which gave her a deeper understanding of NZ health & disability system and services, and more knowledge about youth health, women & sexual health, and therapeutic communication skills.

Lily's diverse experience spans as a Women's Advocate, Community Health Worker, Authorised Interviewer, and community engagement. At The Asian Network Inc (TANI), she is focusing on health literacy, promoting the NZ health system, and organizing wellness programs for the broader Asian Community. Over the past ten years, she has collaborated closely with TANI Health Promotion team and professional speakers from health sectors, delivering hundreds of health seminars, talks and online events in the community and libraries.

Lily will continue to expand her knowledge, plan strategically, and conduct community initiatives designed to empower individuals and communities to take charge of their health and well-being.
